Moves to Paris. In addition to oil painting, studies copperplate printmaking at Johnny Friedlaender’s studio. |

Invited exhibitor at the 6th International Festival of Painting, Cagnes-sur-Mer winning international prize. |

Receives Yasui Award Exhibition excellence award. |
1977 |
Nominated as a member of the Salon d’Automne. Receives first class award in copperplate printmaking section of the Second Cannes International Printmaking Biennale. |

Receives Kyoto Prefectural Culture Award's Distinguished Service Prize. Receives 13th Miyamoto Saburo Memorial Award, holding award exhibition in Tokyo and Kyoto. Selected as a Kyoto City Person of Cultural Merit. |
