Le Corbusier is well known as the master of modern architecture. Beneath his works lie the characteristics of the Swiss approach, including design, materials and traditions, fine sensitivity to nature, and also an untiring reliance on rationality, functionality, and universality. In an examination of the Le Corbusier’s work, this exhibition presents a re-appraisal of the distinctive Swiss elements, and also considers Swiss design through Le Corbusier.
