ライアン・ガンダー　Ryan Gander

1976年イギリス生まれのライアン・ガンダーは、コンセプチュアルアートの新しい地平をひらく作家として世界のアートシーンで注目を集めています。2019年クンストハレ・ベルンの大規模な個展をはじめ各国で展覧会が開催されるほか、ドクメンタ、ヴェネチア・ビエンナーレなどの国際展での展示、2010年セントラルパーク（ニューヨーク）における屋外彫刻などのパブリックアートも知られています。日本では2017年に国立国際美術館（大阪）の個展およびガンダーのキュレーションによる同館の収蔵品展が同時開催されて話題になりました。

Born in 1976 in the UK, Ryan Gander has been a major figure on the international art scene, breaking new ground in conceptual art, with a major solo exhibition at Kunsthalle Bern in 2019 and other international exhibitions including Documenta and the Venice Biennale. He is also known for his public art, such as his outdoor sculptures in Central Park, New York in 2010. In Japan, a solo exhibition at the National Museum of Art, Osaka and an exhibition of the museum's collection, curated by Gander, were held in 2017.
